A little bit of blues & Jazz

Sunday July 15 2012 - what a great night.  38 people spent a couple of hours singing blues and jazz lead by Jo Woodward.  The small hall at St. Andrew's Bendigo was full of fun and laughter.  Ann's carrot & coriander soup was a real hit! Deb's "Spicy Moroccan Chick pea soup" was also devoured quickly.  Really nice to see families coming out on a Sunday night once a month to enjoy singing together. Thanks to everyone for being there and sharing their beautiful voices and getting into the spirit of "Sing for Supper".  I'm still singing Hernandos Hideaway. See you next time. Deb

A big thank you to our fabulous soup maker Ann Lyon, who prepared more than 20 litres of beautiful soup for our first Sing for Supper. We hope you enjoyed them. Ann is also a great organiser and was responsible for making the whole setting look very welcoming.  Well done Ann

Well after two years of planning, Sing for Supper Bendigo had a very successful launch tonight.   56 people come along and sung their hearts our to the wonderful songs lead by Fay White.  The theme was "Hope & Inspiration" and we sang some African spirituals that gave some of us goosebumps hearing the beautiful voices.  A lovely soup supper was enjoyed by everyone.
