Well all the preparations are now in place for our first Saturday Sings! for this weekend - May 25th commencing at 2pm. Today Ann & I had a lovely chat with Jenny at Phoenix FM about Sing for Supper and community singing more generally. We also played a couple of our favourite African songs to the Phoenix audience, that we enjoy singing.
Bookings are coming in and we are pleased to be welcoming old friends and many new comers too.
Hope to see you at "The Old Church on the Hill", Corner Harkness & Russell St, Quarry Hill

Deb Allan and Ann Lyon are proud to announce that Sing for Supper Bendigo is about to commence for its 3rd year on Sunday 21 April at St Andrew's Hall 26-28 Myers St Bendigo commencing at 6pm.
Based on inclusive community singing principles, Sing for Supper offers opportunities for the community to come together and sing for fun.  The singing is mostly acapella and you learn while you sing. Everyone is made welcome and the only criteria is to enjoy singing.
There is also time to eat and meet people in your community.
This year, Sing for Supper is branching out into Saturday Sings - a series of Saturday afternoon workshops offer at different locations around Bendigo.  The first workshop on May 27 will be mainly African songs lead by Jane Thompson and James Rigby.
Places for all our events are limited, so please remember to book in advance.  If you would like to know more please visit our website
